Please join us for a Winter Exploration of the Wilson M. Powell Wildlife Sanctuary in Old Chatham on Saturday, Dec. 11, 10am-noon. We will take a leisurely walk through the Sanctuary and visit different forest types and a rock outcrop with a spectacular view. Along the way, you will learn how to identify some common plants in winter. This walk is free, but space is limited, so please register with Claudia to reserve your space (no dogs at this location, please!).
We are offering two free slots in the WaspID Course, an online course on wasp identification and biodiversity that will run during the first two weeks of January. FEP's Kendrick Fowler is co-teaching this course and we are offering the free slots on a first-come, first-served basis; if you wish to claim one, please contact Kendrick by Friday, December 3. An unlimited number of paid slots in the Course are also available; tuition is $60, and registration will remain open until midnight on December 31.
