The Forum features short, interactive research dialogues given by 10 graduate students, thematic breakout discussions on topics relevant to human trafficking research, and a seminar on professional networking by Alex Balch, professor of politics at the University of Liverpool, director of the Modern Slavery & Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre, UK, and associate director of the African Programming and Research Initiative to End Slavery (APRIES).
Registration, a full list of presenters, schedule, and more can be found on the event page here: https://t.uga.edu/7C5
Portions of the forum will be recorded and shared on the CenHTRO website and social media channels.
The Forum represents a continuation of successful institutional partnerships between the University of Georgia and University of Liverpool. Over a decade, the two schools have collaborated across multiple disciplines on both education and research. The partnership promotes research collaboration, secures external research grants to address contemporary challenges of global importance, and provides an opportunity for students at both universities to benefit from shared expertise through virtual and physical exchange.
