#GivingTuesday is tomorrow! It officially kicks off at 1 a.m. EST. Yes that’s early, but not too late to help us leverage the matching grant!
Our goal for this campaign is $15,000, and we’d love to take home up $5,000 in additional matching grants from Home Instead Charities Canada. Matching grants always go fast, so we’d love for you to make your gift as early as possible, if you’re able to give.
To make your gift, please visit: https://www.give65.ca/DementiaSociety and click the green “donate now” button to complete your transaction. Gifts of $10 or more are accepted and appreciated.

Whether you are a caregiver, a person with a diagnosis of dementia, a professional in the area of senior care or dementia support, or just someone interested in learning more … we are here. Ready to meet see you at our offices, have a telephone call, welcome you to an educational, social or peer support program or direct you to places and resources you need. The Dementia Society is your own community of support.
We hope that you had time to read Bill’s story: https://dementiahelp.ca/client-story-bill-hayden/. Bill’s story is unique, like every dementia experience, each family has a story to tell about how this illness has challenged them. Bill describes his dementia like living in the Twilight Zone. “Someone can suddenly just change the channel and I don’t know where I am.” But a dementia diagnosis didn’t stop Bill from beginning a new, artistic journey.

When you give to the Dementia Society, your donation stays here, helping families facing dementia and helping them to continue to live a full life.
Our goal at the Dementia Society is to work with families every step of the way, because we know that dementia is experienced differently by each person.
"For a diagnosis, see a neurologist, for the other 99% of your well-being, see the Dementia Society."
- Bill Hayden, living with dementia.
Giving tomorrow, on this global day of generosity, will help more people like Bill through their dementia journey.
Donate tomorrow at: https://www.give65.ca/DementiaSociety.
