Please remember to keep your children home if they are sick. I have rapid antigen COVID tests
in my office. I am more than willing to test them in the parking lot if you would like. If your
child has the following symptoms then please keep him/her home and tell the school nurse.
-Fever within 48 hours
-New uncontrolled cough
-New loss of taste or smell
-Sore throat
OR a combination of 2 or more of the following symptoms
-New headache
-Runny nose/congestion
-Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
-Muscle soreness/fatigue
According to the Standard Operating Procedure, community exposure of an unvaccinated
individual results in a 10 day quarantine. A negative test does not shorten quarantine. Pool
testing does not apply to community exposures. If you or someone in your household
becomes sick with COVID-19, it’s important to keep your child home in quarantine and let the
school know. Please note, no pool testing next week due to the Holiday.
Lastly- if your 5-11 year old has been vaccinated from COVID-19 from somewhere besides the
schools clinic, please let me know so I can update their medical chart.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe while in school. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Maybe during these uncertain times, packing some extra, healthy snacks may help with an unanticipated change in lunch.
