About the Sustainable Fashion Ambassador Program
The Sustainable Fashion Ambassador Program is an interactive, interdisciplinary workshop series and is CSUN's first sustainable fashion certification program. This guest speaker event is part of the program's weekly workshops.
The program was made possible by a partnership with the Institute for Sustainability, the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), and the Campus Quality Fee. It offers students the opportunity to systemically learn about issues in different facets of the fashion industry while leading collaborative projects.
Designed by Dr. Tracie Tung, Elline Deogracias, and Dr. Natale Zappia, this program covers various topics such as: social justice in fashion, product life cycle, supply chain assurance and transparency, sustainable business logistics, sustainable communities, and more.
