This week: Karaoke, for the last time this year!

We'll be wrapping this year up not with a bang, but with weebs screeching off key in broken Japanese again! As always, we'll be blasting the tunes and our mics with our very own absolute units of speakers, so be sure to be there and queue up any song you can find on the internet! Chances are good someone in the crowd will join you, so no need to get nervous about being alone.

5:00PM - Artist Meetup (Buchanan A202): PChat/Draw.kuku
6:30 PM - Dinner Break
7:00 PM - 10:00PM (Buchanan A201): Karaoke!

As this will be our last weekly of the year, we will not be resuming Friday weekly meetups until the next semester- starting January 10th, 2022! However, despite this, we will still be possibly meeting up over the holidays for any folks without any plans for the break, so keep an eye out for our next newsletter and/or the #announcements channel in our Discord for updates!

LAST CALL! SAO: Progressive food + movie outing

This is your final call to buy tickets and RSVP for the SAO:P movie outing! Please buy your tickets online by yourself at Cineplex's website here and RSVP for dinner here! For ticketing via the link to Cineplex above, click the blue dropdown menu under "What's in theater" and select December 5th 2021. For those who fail to RSVP before noon (12:00PM) on Thursday, December 2nd, we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee you a seat at our table for dinner. We have decided that the food and movie outing will occur as follows:

When: Starting 5:30PM, Sunday, December 5th, 2021
Where (Food):  The Old Spaghetti Factory (53 Water St, Vancouver, BC)
Where (Movie): Cineplex Odeon International Village Cinemas (515 Abbott St, Vancouver, BC)

Schedule:
5:30 PM - Meet at Old Spag and start an early dinner
6:45 PM - Walk to Cineplex Odeon International Village Cinema
7:00 PM - SAO:P starts

We recommend that you get your tickets ASAP (and RSVP to food while you're at it) because it may fill up quickly, depending. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

If at any point something or someone makes you uncomfortable in any way, regardless of what that person's position in the club may be, please reach out to an exec about it as soon as possible. It is our job to listen to our members and take every report seriously so we can keep the club a safe and welcoming place everyone can enjoy themselves in. Similarly, if you see someone who seems to be a victim of an incident, please let an exec know immediately so we may handle the situation.
