Dear Educator,

Even in the pandemic, we continue to provide theatre programs for scores of children around the country. We are able to keep culture and self-expression alive for these children. From Shakespeare to Improvisation, we believe in the value of our programming.

Read on to find out about current programming possibilities. There's something for everybody!

Here are 5 items we want to share with you. Feel free to contact us if anything catches your eye.

 5  items for you

 1

What's allowed?
(Corona measures since Nov. 26)

The latest government Corona measures mean we have to adapt our programming over the next weeks. This also includes our storytelling series of A Christmas Carol. (Picture by Noemi Nagy). We will advise you asap how the performances and workshops will be affected.

It is also useful to continue to check the CJP website (in Dutch). They provide a good description of what's allowed and possible for culture and arts under the limitations.

 2

 Some CJP budget left?

Possibly, there’s money left to spend in your school's CJP budget for cultural programming. Check with your finance department and make sure you use up the 2020-2021 allowance before 31 December. Yes, you can also spend your budget on projects in 2022. STET Education workshops qualify.

 3

Giving

Money you spend at STET Education before Christmas will help people with visual impairment. This is part of our annual charity drive. We are giving 5% of your booking fee to KomtHetZien. No increase in your fee, just passing it along, because we believe they do great work. This non-profit provides professional audio description for around 60 plays, musicals, dance shows and parades per year.

There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.

Go Jogging with Us

Delve in the world of Hanane Hajj Ali, a playwright and actress from Beirut. We are organizing a university tour of her play Jogging: Theater in Progress. As an educator you can help us connect with a university to show this cultural piece, and we will add your name to the guest list. (Photo by Marwan Tahtah)
