Anvil 2021 Report
Friends, Well here are. We made it to December! It's amazing to look back overt the course of 2021 and see all that has taken place. There has been a great deal of struggle and chaos in this world still, yet at the same time, when we really stop to look, we can see that God is also up to so much good, all around.
Just 3 weeks ago was an example of some of that goodness as we took part in the Fall 2021 Anvil Men's Boot Camp. It's so wild to think that we have wrapped up 5 years of boot camps. At this event, men from 4 states gathered in the North Georgia Mountains for 4 days healing, training, and intimate fellowship with God and each other. It's so hard to put into words just how wonderful this weekend. As a facilitating team, we came together with a fluidity we have not seen before.
Regarding the men that came, they seemed to be locked into what was being taught, and really took their times with God, probably the most valuable aspect of the weekend, very seriously. How about you hear from the men themselves...
"Well done in listening to the God. I'm inspired to see how God is at work here...Good seed planting."
"The friends I connected with here...I made friends for life."
"I found validation as a young man. Men reaffirming that I am good enough has been a huge blessing."
"Coming into the weekend, I didn't know what to expect. Seeing all these men coming together for God is amazing."
"I love how God was invited in. He showed up and men's lives were changed."
"This weekend has given me the courage to fight again."
There is so much more we could share and go into. This was a group of men that were engaged from start to finish and what a joyous time it was. On our final night we gathered around the fire together and nearly every man took some time to share the goodness that God is up to in their lives. It was a holy space.
As we wrap up this year and another successful event, we cannot wait to see where we go in 2022. While dates are not set yet, we are itching to get back out there to reach more and more. This mission has been an absolute blessing for me and the men I share this journey with. Be on the look out for more dates as the new year comes around, and for more events, in person and virtual.

Anvil Knives As many of you may have seen in the past months, as a way to support our mission, we partnered with my friend and brother in the faith, 2019 Forged in Fire Champion and ABS Blade Smith, Billy Salyers of the Yellow Rose Forge in Rutherfordton, NC to commission the first Anvil EDC (Everyday Carry) blade.
I absolutely love these blades. It has become an everyday carry knife for me and not only looks great, but also a very useful tool. We still have blades available and you can receive one of these great blades for your generous donation of $150 or more.
