On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, December 3rd, we would like to share a Spotlight story on how one organization that advances inclusion, adapted to meet community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
McConnell’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund was created to provide short-term support for community organizations facing increased demands, and to help them respond to new opportunities during the first few months of the pandemic. This short-term funding program ended in June 2020. Over the course of 2021, stories emerged about how organizations responded to the crisis as part of this program.
