REST API Workshop Blog Post

As some of you may know, one of the App Lab Managers, Felipe Yanaga, ran a couple of REST API workshops here at the App Lab. We are aware that many of you had class at that time, and so, we recorded one of the sessions so that you guys wouldn't miss this!

Wallpaper Decision

Those of you who are in our Slack channel (if you aren't, click here to join) know that we are changing the looks of our lovely lab! We are here to announce that the following image was the most liked wallpaper and will soon find itself on the App Lab!

The App Lab shall close on Winter Break!

Our last day open will be December 1st from 11 am to 7 pm. Be sure to stop by and say hi before then. Good luck with these last couple weeks of class - you've got this! With that being said...

Feel free to drop by and start the semester off with the right foot!

App-a-thon!

It's with great excitement that we announce the App-a-thon. the App Lab's very own long semester long app building competition! During the App-a-thon, you will get the chance to work in teams to display all of your talent and knowledge while competing for a great pool of prizes!

As the semester comes to a close, we would like to say that we are all very proud of all that you all have accomplished this semester, and we are very excited to see what you will accomplish next semester!

We'll miss you! Please come back to see us in the Spring.

Goodbye, Lasya ...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we would like to announce that Lasya, one of our App Lab managers, will not be returning to the App Lab next semester.

She has been a great colleague and manager for a long time, and she shall be truly missed. If you come in during her shift, make sure to show her some appreciation!

Now, a couple of words from Lasya herself:

"Just want to say thank you to all the other staff members, our boss Jeff Terrell, and all the wonderful visitors for making my past year and a half at the App Lab so rewarding! I have had so many great experiences here and learned so much. I will definitely come back to visit next semester!"
