Feeling overwhelmed and stressed as we head into Summer is a common sensation felt by many Australian farmers and farming families. There is a lot to look forward to, yet still a lot of work to do.

To help keep on top of your commitments and help mitigate any unnecessary stress, download or order our free Managing Stress on the Farm booklet, which now includes our Steering Straight: Your plan to keep on track resource.

'How to be a leader: no matter what your role is'

In October of this year our research assistant, Sonya Duke, attended the leadership forum Community Leader Fellowship run by Farmers for Climate Action

This fellowship sought to equip its attendees with skills they can use in any type of leadership role. One such technique was incorporating the 5D reflective thinking process into decision making. This process seeks to help you see the bigger picture - to gain a better understanding of  yourself, how to get feedback from others, and how to make better decisions.

Learn more about 5D reflective thinking and other useful leadership techniques in Sonya’s blog.
