URA Fixed Residential Moving Cost Schedule Changes

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) published a Federal Register Notice making changes to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (URA) - Fixed Residential Moving Cost Schedule. The moving cost schedule is used in connection with fixed residential moving payments under 49 CFR 24.302. The changes became effective August 26, 2021.

The published changes increase moving cost schedule amounts for the States and Territories of: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, N. Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Virgin Islands, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Please note: Schedule amounts for states and territories not listed above remain the same.
