Dear Earthling,

The stories we tell about ourselves shape what we can imagine is possible.

Our lives are woven through with an intricate tapestry of stories, all playing at once. Some ancient and invisible, some loud and dominant.

Beyond the waking and sleeping dreams we are busy spinning each day is a deep and unfolding love story. It's made of universal patterns that play out at the energetic or archetypal level.

Every year this story unfolds just a little more. We can get some idea of that story's flavor by tuning into moments like the new moon or the turn of a new year, when the world is at a natural crossing point.

Does it feel like the loudest stories of the moment are limiting our ability to imagine something better? It's like we are trying to resolve critical social & ecological crises with our greatest strength hobbled: the deep imagination.

We need to "dream on the edge" of the world, to build new pathways of imagination that can lead to a regenerative world.

That's exactly why I write Dreamfruit each year. Month by month, a series of dreams unfolds to reveal a pathway that could, just maybe, inspire us toward a new story for ourselves and the Earth.
