Updates on COVID-19 Travel Restrictions

On November 26, 2021, the White House issued a proclamation which imposed restrictions on travel from eight countries in light of the emergence of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus (South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe). Please note that the travel restrictions will also apply to anyone transiting through one of these countries. Click on the link below to read ISSS' summary of the changes.

The Global Research & Internship Program (GRIP) offers outstanding undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to intern or conduct research with a variety of organizations and companies abroad for 8 to 12 weeks over the summer. For graduate and professional students: Graduate school can be a very stressful time in one’s life and it may be difficult to manage the many academic, social, and emotional demands. Stress is a normal response to experiences that feel overwhelming. However, when stress goes unmanaged, it can lead to distress in one’s life. This workshop will focus on recognizing signs of stress, identifying coping strategies and forms of self-care, and when and where to seek help when needed.
