Culture, Heritage and Arts Tourism to be Boosted in Regional Australia
The $3 million Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) program is now open. The program will support community cultural, heritage and arts organisations in regional Australia to continue their important work, and to re-engage with their local communities as they recover from the impacts of COVID-19.

Regional Arts WA
Applications are now open to the
Regional Arts Fund's Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program, for regional arts organisations, local governments, and artists to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional WA.
There are four types of grants available now through Regional Arts WA:
- Flash Marketing Campaign | $2,500
- Targeted Marketing Campaign | $10,000
- Experience Initiative | $10,000
- Partnership Initiative | $15,00

Department of Communities
The COVID-19 Youth Recovery Grants Program aims to support community initiatives that assist young people during the recovery phase of this pandemic.
Funding of up to $5,000 is available for one-off activities or initiatives with a duration of up to six months involving one or more partners and that contribute to the achievement of program objectives. Funding of up to $10,000 is available for longer term (over six months), community-wide strategic initiatives involving a wide range of partners and that contribute to the achievement of the program objectives.

Macca's Junior Sports Grants
Macca's Junior Sports Grants aims to increase participation in junior sports and encourage the habit of a healthy lifestyle amongst young West Australians living in our regional communities where access to funding is harder to come by.
Macca's Junior Sports provides grants to clubs or groups within regional Western Australia to provide basic sporting infrastructure for a club or sporting group for an activity which is likely to encourage kids to participate in sport.

Healthy Research Program - Exploratory Research Grants
These grants support exploratory or formative studies to address gaps in health promotion research, demonstrating the potential to influence health promotion in WA.
Applicants are encouraged to focus on at least one of Healthway's strategic priorities; increasing healthy eating, increasing physical activity, improving mental health, preventing harm from alcohol, creating a smoke-free WA, and Aboriginal health. Healthway's funding is prioritised to their strategic areas however they will accept applications that address other health promotion related issues.

Healthy Communities Program
Healthy Communities Program funds a range of health promotion activities and campaigns to promote and encourage healthy lifestyles for all Western Australians. Applications for innovative, sustainable health promotion projects that reach target groups outlined in their
strategic plan are strongly encouraged.
Healthway objectives:
- Fund activities related to the promotion of good health in general and aligned with Healthway's strategic priorities and population groups
- Support projects that aim to increase individual knowledge and skills, change behaviour, and create community and organisational policies and environments to improve health.

TENNIS WA - SunSmart Club Grant Funding
This initiative supports Western Australian metropolitan and regional tennis clubs in coordinating and delivering an event that invites the local community into the club.
A key focus of this program is to engage with clubs and encourage them to provide accessible, healthy, welcoming environments, which are thriving community hubs that people to visit. By making tennis more accessible, Tennis WA aims to contribute to the growth in tennis participation at local clubs.

These grant support Western Australian organisations and the community to contribute towards making your community better and healthier.

Community Grants Program - Festivals
This program funds public events that provide a range of cultural experiences and activities that celebrate the cultural identity of culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities in WA. The festival must be free or low cost, delivered as a singular or contained event, and able to attract participation and attendance of the broader community.

Youth Week WA 2022 Grant Program
Funding of up to $1,000 for individual events and up to $3,000 for collaborative community-wide events will be available for eligible organisations to host an event during Youth Week WA 2022, 8-16 April 2022.
Closing date for Youth Week WA 2022 applications is 23 December 2021. Please note, late submissions will not be accepted.
