Gingin Community Bank Celebrates its 4th WA Bendigo Bank of the Year Award (in a row)!

On 23 November 2021, staff at Gingin Community Bank received some well deserved recognition from Bendigo Adelaide Bank State Manager, Joe Faraone, for being the the Best Performing Bendigo Bank in WA for the fourth year in a row.

Gingin Community Bank Chairman, David Roe, said that receiving this award four years in a row is no accident and reflects strongly of the leadership of Branch Manager Christian Kelly and the dedicated team that he has developed around him. David went on to say that he and his fellow volunteer Directors could not be prouder of the $3.1m contribution that the Gingin and Lancelin Community Banks have made to the Gingin Community over its 20 years of operations, none of which would have been possible without its dedicated staff and exceptional community support.

Council and the Shire would like to congratulate Bendigo Bank on its achievement and also on reaching its momentous 20 year milestone. The bank has worked hand in hand with the community and the Shire these past 2 decades to help deliver community facilities and events to many of our Shire’s towns. The legacy they will leave on our communities is a real credit to the staff at Bendigo Bank.

Tips & Resources
Exercise is medicine and doctors should be prescribing it
We all want the quick fix: the miracle diet, cosmetic surgery, or the pill over the slow (but effective) lifestyle change. Exercise has been shown to give both immediate benefits as well as long-term benefits for our health. The short-term effect on mental health is something we can all recognise and appreciate.  Emergency Doctor, Ash Bowden, thinks it’s this immediate effect that can help us utilise exercise as a fundamental treatment for a whole range of ailments.
