Professor Matteo Pellegrini co-authors study on cancer immunotherapy

Matteo Pellegrini, IDRE Board member and biophysicist in the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering, co-authored a study published in the journal Cell Reports Medicine, which reports a critical step forward in developing “off-the-shelf” cancer immunotherapy.

Professor Jens Palberg heads Science Hub for Humanity and Artificial Intelligence established by UCLA and Amazon

Jens Palberg, IDRE Board member and professor of computer science at UCLA, is heading an advisory group composed of representatives from UCLA and Amazon for the Science Hub for Humanity and Artificial Intelligence. The hub will engage Amazon AI specialists and UCLA faculty and support AI research by faculty and students across campus. Read the full article at the UCLA Newsroom.

Frontera Pathways and LSCP Allocations Now Open

Frontera LRAC Opportunity now open through December 31
The LRAC offers large allocations from 250,000 to 5,000,000 node-hours to science teams with a strong scientific justification for access to a leadership-class computing resource to enable research that would otherwise not be possible.

Frontera Pathways and LSCP Allocations now open through December 15
The Frontera Pathways and Frontera Large Scale Community Partnership (LSCP) allocation opportunities are open through December 15. Resources available for request include Frontera and its GPU subsystem, as well as the Longhorn GPU resource.
