#November
So, unfortunately Thanksgiving was a bust. My son-in-law tested positive for Covid. I had only been around one of the kids that week, but we all decided to play it safe and postponed the holiday. Youngest daughter’s family and I exchanged half of the food we’d already prepared and had our dinners at our own homes. Didn’t get to see my other kids either, so that was disappointing, but we rolled with the punches.
My daughter tested positive next, then the 21 year-old and 11 year-old. Those three seem to be much better this week, and we’re thanking God for their healing.
#December
So far, so good. I’ve had a good writing week and am getting back on track. We have several birthdays these two months, which makes shopping more intense. Gigi turned 4 and Elli will be 12.
You heard that right. TWELVE. She’s teaching me how to do TikTok, but I’m a caution. When I get better and braver, I’ll share with those of you who use it.
