JCR Registration Closes Today So Don't Delay

Registration ends today for the 2021 HAH Joint Commission Education Program so don't forget to sign up. The program will be held virtually on Dec. 9 and 10. Please click here to register.
Each year, HAH brings to its hospital members the latest from the Joint Commission, the organization that accredits healthcare organizations.
The training topics include survey updates, maternal health standards, clinical topics, regulatory updates, and a focus on environment of care and life safety.
This year’s faculty includes Laurel McCourt, MD, CJCP and Lisa Hardesty, MA, CFI CHSP, HEM who have spoken at previous HAH JCR events. The third speaker is Mary Cole, MSN, BSN, RN, CIC, CJCP, an expert in infection control and a Joint Commission surveyor.

HAH Supports COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Hawaii's Healthcare Workforce

The Healthcare Association of Hawaii (HAH) and its member facilities reassert the belief that mandated COVID-19 vaccines for healthcare workers remains the right strategy even though the federal court granted a preliminary injunction, which temporarily blocks ten states from complying with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mandate rule.
