Thank you for a wonderful sailing season in 2021.  We could not have done it without you.

We're out of the water for the winter and enjoying life in Bellingham, Washington.
Sailboat BOB is enjoying some maintenance and upgrades in the yard. No matter how big the crane is, it still feels like a puppet on a string when they lift us.

Our cousins J and Krista were big helps moving all our boat stuff to our little rental house. Lots of love to you two!!! As well as to the poor random guy who had to hold the gate for 4 carts in the back of the photo.
BOB has a few friends to hang out with in the yard. His favorite buddy seems to be this unpretentious local...
Bellingham is a pretty little city on the Salish Sea. A few of the buildings date to the 1800s and there are lots of urban pleasures to be had, including about a zabillion micro breweries and lots of bike trails and outdoor art to explore. We are not unhappy.
One of the planned upgrades to S/V BOB is to install a swim ladder to the stern for easier re-entry for polar bears and other wet folks.
Speaking of wet: Blain got to join the locals on a SCUBA dive at Edmonds Underwater Park. He forgot his GoPro and nobody was really snapping photos, but he did manage to get this one taken for proof. Honest - it's him.
We were very proud to share the love this year with two of our local Sitka nonprofits that do so much for the community and the SE Alaska area we sail in.

1% of our 2021 proceeds went to recipients Sitka Trail Works and KCAW Raven Radio

Our clients enjoy exploring the various trails throughout SE Alaska, and we greatly value the work Sitka Trail Works does to fund, advocate for, build, and maintain the hiking, walking, and biking trails in the region. A favorite hike of ours is Sealion Cove and we have already seen our donation helping with the repair and maintenance of this beloved trail.

KCAW is a vital lifeline for news and information (and some great music and programs) throughout SE Alaska. One of the direct things they do is read the marine weather hourly so we and other boats out there can stay safe.

Last year we selected Sitka Conservation Society and are impressed by their tireless work to protect the Tongass National Forest.
As Fall turns to Winter we look ahead to a busy summer in 2022, we realize just how grateful we are to everyone who has supported us along this long, wet, and wild course we are on. Family, friends, clients, and supporters of all kinds keep us afloat and make us want to continue for another decade, at least.

This was our 10th season and it seems they go by faster every year. We hope we have thanked you for your support somewhere along the way, and please accept our most sincere appreciation and our deepest gratitude.

A very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

- Blain and Monique

Still a few trips and cabins open in 2022.

And now booking for 2023. Check out the amazing offerings on our webpage.
Here's a little Thanksgiving bit.

Around this time in 2018 we visited Mystic Seaport and spotted a large tent. Being nosy, we poked our shnozes and camera into a gap in the fabric to snap this photo of the Mayflower II being renovated for the 400th anniversary of the first crossing of the Atlantic by the Pilgrims. Well we are glad to hear this little incursion didn't set them back and you can now visit this remarkable ship in it's forever home in Plymouth.

Here's an inspiring video on it's restoration. Gobble Gobble.
Please recycle. We ask you to pass this on to a friend or family member deserving a great holiday.
