As can be seen from the photo below it was a great turnout for our annual Spinner Autumn Gathering. The food was very good and the camaraderie and fellowship even better.
Thanks very much to Stephen Wadle for your excellent presentation on hiking & biking opportunities in the Bozeman, MT area.
We discussed various aspects of new colors (not design) of our Spinner Jersey. Fred is leading the charge on this Initiative and here are some questions that were asked at the gathering with the corresponding answers that Fred obtained from Primal after the gathering.
The following are the questions and answers about the new jerseys:
What is the actual color of the main part of the jersey? Primal considers the color "bright green". To get true high-viz, we would need to use neon inks which would increase the price of the jersey by about 10% - new price would be $63 per jersey.
Is there a difference in the cut and sizing of men's and women's jerseys? There is a difference in cut and sizing. The women's has smaller measurements when comparing to the men's. For instance, a men's medium is larger than a women's medium. Also, the women's is more tapered at the waist, and the men's has elastic in the sleeves and waist while the women's does not.
Can we mix and match short and long sleeve jerseys as part of our minimum order? No, each variation would require a minimum order of 10 since they are different products (e.g., 10 men's short sleeve, 10 men's long sleeve, 10 women's long sleeve, and 10 women's short sleeve). The price of the long sleeve versions would depend on the type of material desired (e.g., heavyweight/thermal vs. same material as short sleeve).
Do you offer "tall" sizes? No, the jerseys are all standard sizing.
After our initial order in January, can we place supplemental orders throughout the year. If so, what is the minimum quantity for those supplemental orders? We can place supplemental orders, and the minimum order quantity would be five for each gender as long as we do not make any design changes on the reorder.
Does Primal offer other gear such as jackets, hats, etc.? Yes, we can talk to our sales rep about specific items.
Based on the feedback received, I would recommend we switch to the hi-viz color for an extra $6 per jersey since the goal is to have truly "hi-viz" jerseys. I would recommend we stick to short sleeve jerseys only since I doubt we would reach our minimums of long and short sleeve jerseys for each gender.
Fred
Thanks Fred very much for doing the homework on the Jerseys.
OK...since we have to order these Jerseys by Jan 12th in order to receive them by March, everyone needs to email Fred (fred42773@gmail.com or text (779-221-6165) that you want a "hi-viz" Jersey. You also need to send him the funds via one of the following methods:
Venmo @Fred-Hasse or Pay Pal @fred42773 or check: Fred Hasse 103 Wenlock Pl. Rockton, IL 61072
For sizing purposes here is a chart from Primal that you can use.
