membership

canopy network membership is very informal at this time, managed through Facebook and this newsletter subscription. Our Facebook group canopy - creative arts in the Forest of Dean has steadily grown and now has 430 members. Though of course not everyone in it is based in the Forest, we welcome all who join and show an interest in the fantastic creativity we have here in the Forest, perhaps one day you might visit us and join in! Membership of the network is free, though we welcome donations via our website.

We are adding new events, activities and network meetings all the time. Please subscribe to this newsletter, and if you are on social media join our facebook group to find out more.

Canopy is a voluntary run not-for-profit community organisation. Membership is free to the network, however donations are very welcome. All funds go towards the activities of Canopy. We provide creative events and opportunities, cultivate creative communities, using creativity to foster connections and enhance wellbeing, and raise the profile of the arts within the Forest of Dean. We are working towards providing an overview of the arts in the Forest of Dean, developing a database of arts organisations and activities within the Forest, as well as gathering data on arts and cultural activities and working with local authorities to better understand the creative needs of the Forest. Donations can be made via the below PayPal Donate button, or in cash at any Canopy event, thank you for your support.

This newsletter is sent out towards the end of each month. We may send out very occasional extra newsletters for big announcements, however we are very keen not to overwhelm your inbox with unnecessary bumf.
