Tom Gryp recently spoke to us at Mass concerning our need to raise additional financial aid for our school students, most especially for the Pre-K and Kindergarten children who do not qualify for School Choice vouchers. By this time you have received the mailing we sent inviting you to make an SGO contribution to Holy Cross School. Our goal is to raise $90,000 this year (about $30,000 more than last year), which we believe will be sufficient to offer adequate financial aid to those students in need of tuition assistance. As Tom reminded us, Holy Cross School has been voted the best private school in Michiana for the third year in a row. Parents want to send their children to our school in order to receive a quality Catholic education. As parishioners we want to make this education as affordable as possible for them.
Tom mentioned, as does the mailing you received, that local businesses can also be an important source of SGO funding. They, like individuals such as yourselves, can receive a tax credit toward their SGO donation. Please encourage any businesses in the area, or anywhere in Indiana, to consider supporting, through an SGO contribution, the important role Holy Cross School is playing here in South Bend…
Thank you to all who are able to support our school through an SGO donation. It will go a long way in ensuring that students who wish to attend our school are financially able to do so.
