Tomorrow on Friday is Black Friday and this coming Monday is Cyber Monday, two of the busiest shopping days of the year.
But do you know what this coming Tuesday, Nov. 30 is all about? It's Giving Tuesday, the single biggest day for donations to charities across North America.
On that day our team will be running a special fundraising campaign across all of our channels to support our programs, services, and operations.
We'll be sending a reminder on Tuesday morning so our community members can take part in this special 1-day campaign.

#8. Update on NCCM Advocacy
|
|
AMA representatives recently participated in the NCCM 2021 Ontario Advocacy Day to introduce and advocate for the passage of the 'Our London Family Act' in the provincial legislature.
It was a ground-breaking day in which over 75 Ontario Muslim leaders, intellectuals, and activists got together to meet with Ministers, Leaders and MPPs from all political parties, and advocated with one strong voice about the issues that matter most to our communities.
The Our London Family Act is a comprehensive anti-Islamophobia bill which aims to reform education, end White Supremist intimidation outside of mosques, increase the recruitment of minorities in the provincial public service, require an anti-Islamophobia strategy in the Anti-Racism Directorate, create Ontario hate crime accountability units and extend limitation periods for human rights complaints to 5 years.
This act is just the beginning of something monumental and historic with regards to fighting Islamophobia. To date, as a result of the event, three of the four Party leaders have supported the act.
