Our Favorite Months
Happy Thanksgiving! We have much to be grateful for as always. October is a celebratory month in our house, with Lyndee's, David's, and my birthdays occurring just as the weather also turns nice! Now we're hurtling into the holiday season, and are looking forward to seeing almost all of our family members over the next month, including some family who live overseas. It will be a joyful time!
We are thankful for Christ, who has given us salvation and new life as children of God. We're thankful for our exuberant, healthy children, a decade-long marriage that God is blessing, a nurturing church body, jobs we each love, friends we enjoy, and family we cherish deeply. There have been difficult transitions and losses this year, but even amid the hardships, we can be grateful and stand firmly on the foundation of the Good News of Jesus. I'm praying the same for you and your family this season.
