A Special Thank You

Because of you, we have a lot to be thankful for at YesLiberia. We think about you when we hear a mother joyfully screaming on the phone after being informed of her child's tuition payment. We think about you when we see a child smiling for the first time in months. We think about you when we read something you've shared about us on social media. We think about you when we see your name on our donation report in any given month. Thank you for supporting us financially. This Thanksgiving, our board, the parents, and the students you helped us serve, will be thinking and praying for you.   

As the former UN Secretary General, Dr. Kofi Annan, said, "If our hopes of building a better and safer world are to become more than wishful thinking, we will need the engagement of volunteers more than ever." At YesLiberia, we believe you are the backbone for our engagement, our daily activities, and the reason we got into this work over 10yrs ago. Whether you are currently volunteering for us or have helped us in the past, we appreciate you more than you've shown. Thank you! 

You've helped us quickly learned our work can be even more meaningful and sustainable with your partnership and collaboration, even when all hope seems to be missing during a pandemic. Thank you for partnering with us on our Student Leadership Workshop project, our Mask for Slum project, our Mama Matters project, our Transport Essential Worker project,  and now, our Hop on the Bus project. We believe our Hop on the Bus project will turn into "hope on the bus" for vulnerable Liberian children. Thank you for not only supporting our work, but for also being our eyes and advocates in places we couldn't reach or see.
