Stephen Bird Photography Fundraiser

Our incredibly talented committee member, Stephen Bird, has generously put together a fundraiser selling his photography prints. Each month, starting October 2021, he will be releasing another image at a special price with profits going to HPI as a donation towards furnishing the school dormitory in Kashekuro, Uganda.

This month's featured image comes from the Olinda area of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Australia.
A new print will be uploaded at the beginning of each month on our socials and website so be sure to set a reminder, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone's taste.

Please help us spread the word of this fundraiser by sharing our social media and website posts on your local community page and to your friends & family. What a fantastic gift idea for Christmas!

Volunteers Dinner

Last week we held a dinner to thank current committee members & raffle volunteers. Being a busy time of year, there were a few faces missing but a lovely meal was shared and many idea's thrown around for things coming up in 2022. If you've ever thought of becoming more involved in HPI, now is the time. Please reach out to discuss what that might look like for you.
EASY WAYS TO SUPPORT US TODAY

- Don't let your Christmas party empties go to waste! Save up your cans, bottles and glasses and return them to your nearest collection point. For QLD & WA that's Containers for Change Scheme ID C10053657 or NSW Return & Earn.

- Have an upcoming birthday? Hold a Birthday Fundraiser on facebook or simply ask your friends & family to make a
donation in your name on our website in lieu of gifts.

- Sponsor a boarder. For a one off donation of $360 you can sponsor a boarder for a whole school year.

- Hold a 'restrictions friendly' event. For some that will mean a gathering up to 20 in your home and others it means holding an online games night with mates who are in lockdown. Check out
Kahoot.com for an easy online platform & 'charge' your friends a donation to play along.
That's all from me today. If you have any questions about anything in this newsletter please don't hesitate to contact me or any of the committee.
Follow us on
Facebook and Instagram for news mid-month.
