During this week of Thanksgiving, we reflect on the past seven months of campaigning and the many blessings we have received. I want to express my gratitude to the Michiganders who have supported our campaign--that group is growing every day as we travel the state bringing a message and policies that will deliver a Michigan comeback.
I'm thankful for the leaders across the state who are opening doors, making connections and growing our network. As I meet with business and civic leaders, I hear about the dire situation we are in as a state. We have been plagued by self-serving, bumbling leaders who are looking to the next election or higher rung on the political ladder, not delivering for the people of Michigan.
It is going to take all of us working together to deliver the comeback we need. I know we can do it and we will!
As we enter the Christmas season, let us remember from whom all blessings flow. I pray for our families and those in positions of power who have affected us so greatly over the last two years. May we find peace and rest in Him at this time.
