It's going to be a great month!
With grace and peace,

Anticipation fills the air! And we start using words we never use. What even is figgy pudding, and who is Yuletide Carol? This season is also filled with other words that feel a little more special. Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love appear everywhere as we count down to the birth of a savior - who promises that even in this imperfect world, we can experience and embody these four things, even now in the chaos of life.
Week One
Jeremiah 33:14-16
Where there is not hope, bring it.
Week Two
Luke 2:10-12, Isaiah 9:6,
John 14:27, Luke 2:14
Where there is not peace, bring it.
Week Three
Luke 2:8-20, Hebrews 12:2
Where there is not joy, bring it.
Week Four
Luke 2:10-11, Luke 2:19, John 3:16
Because of Jesus you can know God loves you.
MEMORY VERSE
"For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful."
Isaiah 9:6, NLT
ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER
Morning Time
As your high schooler starts their day, say: "I’m so thankful for you."
Meal Time
At a meal this week, ask your teen: "What is the best thing in your life right now? What is the most stressful?" Make sure you share too.
Their Time
When your teen wants to talk, practice listening without forming a response in your mind before they finish.
Bed Time
Pray for your teen to always be able to see that, because of Jesus, there is always hope in any and every situation.
