My personal marker for the beginning of the Season of Light has always been quite simple: it's the first snowfall. (Which often meant, for me, the holiday season started in late June in Montana. HA.)
But, here on Cape Cod, it was last night. There was no sign of it this morning, but at 10 pm, while Yoshi did one last perimeter check of the yard, I stood & listened to the snow, quietly whispering as it arrived...
I've always felt that there's a moment at the start of this season when anything is possible. For me, this is the moment. I wonder who I'm going to be next...:-)
