For 60 years the Northport Historical Society has had an eye towards the past and eye towards the future. We are entrusted with the care of our landmark museum building and with the preservation of over 10,000 historic documents, photos, and artifacts.
This year, we have added the historic Skidmore House at 199 Main Street to our stewardship.
As we come out of nearly two years of shutdown, we are stronger and ready for an exciting new time.
Our Annual Appeal to our supporters is critical to our operating budget and thus we ask that you be generous in your support to allow us to serve the community and charge forth with new energy.

Our 'Stamp Your Passport' Event for Ireland was a festive and musical night. We were honored to have Isabelle Quinlan's great- grandaughter and great-great- grandaughter present and enjoying the night with us.
