"HOME SICK PHILLY" BLACK ART AUCTION ENDS TOMORROW - A DAY LATER

It's exciting to have Black Artists from Philadelphia participate in and lead this auction and we have VISIT PHILLY giving us some  marketing assistance to celebrate the work we are doing to focus on Black Philly Artists. Visit Philadelphia (Visit Philly) is the official visitor website for Philly travel and tourism information.


HOMESICK PHILLY focused on Black Artists in Philadelphia. It's our first collaboration and curating with Chill Moody, a hip hop artist and collector. It will run for 15 days and I encourage you to buy art through this auction - we simply delighted to say that VISIT PHILLY is helping us market the auction via Instagram. The auction can be found here - preview it today, AND BUY BY WEDNESDAY AT 5PM EST and share it with a friend who loves Philly and Black Art.

Prizm Art Fair is a virtual art fair and some programming of panels will be onsite and virtual. It is one of the fairs we most enjoy and it's virtual again. Preview some of the work we are showing as well as work in the gallery here.



We continue our 1ST ANNUAL CALABAR GALLERY END OF YEAR ART SALE , to register, please register hereThe Sale will begin December 11 both onsite and online - and ends December 24. Several people have purchased 2 to 3 pieces this week - and we encourage you to do so. ONE WAY to begin a another collection is to buy art for your children or grandchildren - and start early.



We began our 2022 Art Fair planning and we are excited  to say we are signing on for 2 other Art Fairs in 2022: We will be doing Atlantic World Art Fair on Artsy and Art Vancouver as well as Art Sante Fe, which we announced earlier.

We are happy to continue to be HARLEM-CENTRIC and HARLEM MAKERS COLLECTIVE returns to our space to have 2 weekends of Holiday Shopping for the neighborhood with a variety of vendors and makers. Join us the first and the third weekend - register by emailing us at info@calabargallery.com

SYNERGIES is a conversation between the work of two artists: North American and New York based Elan Cadiz and Congolese And Kinshasa based Alexandre Kyungu Mwilambwe about mapping their journey's through art ideas and life. Each is a series of pivotal stories capturing community through geography, places, people and moments. Both are using ethnographic processes, material and mediums as well as techniques to talk about equity, migration and the cities they inhabit and work in.
