Students of Color who are interested in Teaching this Field Trip Opportunity is for you! Wednesday, January 19 during periods 3-7. Students will travel to Jefferson Middle School, observe a teacher, do a question/answer luncheon to discuss the importance of considering education as a career as a person of color. Please fill out field trip forms and return to College and Career by January 11th.

The Deans/Attendance office is in need of student Aides! If you are interested in being an Aide for the Deans/Attendance Office for 2nd Semester, please stop in A105 to pick up a form!

Attn Seniors: the Jim Mizener Scholarship application is now open. Jim Mizener worked at DGS for over 50 years and he valued involvement, community, and Mustang Spirit. In memory of Jim, we are proud to offer a minimum of $500 dollar value to assist with post-secondary endeavors to students who exemplify what it means to be a Mustang. The peoples choice votes have been tallied from the Winter Art Show!
For the 2d art work, in third place is Eileen Harris, in second place is Sally Litchner, and in first place is Callista Santiago! For the 3d artwork, in third place is Alex Hernandez, in second place is Kendall Gilmore, and in first place is Cassie Rapp! Congratulations to all artists!
