TRAIL MAINTENANCE UPDATE

Water Water everywhere!  With the recent atmospheric rivers that have passed through the South of our province Pemberton has actually fared relatively well compared to some of our neighbouring communities.  Our Trail Manager was out in the trail system ensuring that drainage ditches are open and water wasn’t backing up too much.  As we have moved into winter, trail work has stopped as the snow covers up our trails.  Planning is in full swing for 2022 so we can get back to it in the spring in full force!  Make sure you fill in our survey to have your say.

GOVERNANCE UPDATE

PVTA saw some of our recent Directors retire over the past year and we’d like to give them all a heartfelt thanks for everything that they’ve given to our community and the PVTA.  Nothing that the PVTA has done would be possible without these people volunteering their time and effort:  Graham Haywood (Director of Fundraising), Bill Stiles (President), Patty Peters (Treasurer), Anne West (Secretary/Interim President), Brenda Williams (Equestrian Rep).

We'd also like to thank our first ever Executive Director, Stuart Gillis for his work over the past year.
