Clubs & Community

Supporting our Clubs to Build Back Better!
Club Resilience Funding - Applications now open

We are delighted to announce that funding applications are now open for clubs in the Republic of Ireland. Thanks to funding received from Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and Sport Ireland, we have €300,000 to assist clubs.

In addition to COVID-19 relief funding, support is also available for education and training of club volunteers and coaches. This is an opportunity to help your club rebuild their workforce, where we have seen a significant loss in experienced volunteers. Full details are available on the Swim Ireland website.

More on Swim for a Mile

2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Open Water participation. Here's just a sneak peek what's ahead:

Swim clinics are for swimmers who are looking to sharpen up on some of their skills to make those dips and swims around the buoy a little easier and more enjoyable.

Dates and locations of Swim Ireland’s Swim Festivals throughout the summer will be launched soon, subscribe to our open water mailing list to be the first to know!

Swim Trails combine a swim in a scenic location followed by a historical walk, taking in the beauty and sites in the locality. Keep an eye out for a location near you.

Swim Ireland are continuing to grow the number of locations and programmes available in 2022. The popular Beach to Buoy and Open Water Skills programmes will be joined by new programmes and new locations, coming soon.....
