ETW newsletter 15 December 2021

Thank you for all your amazing efforts during November European Testing Week to increase access to testing and raise awareness about the need for early testing for HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections. Thank you also to our sponsors, endorsers and supporters who help spread the ETW message throughout Europe. It was great to see so much activity on social media about all your ETW activities.

How did your Testing Week go?

Please let us know more about how ETW went! As usual, we really hope you will take a few minutes to complete the online post-ETW evaluation survey.  This helps us to improve ETW; understand how the COVID-19 pandemic affects ETW; get knowledge on the different activities done across Europe and lastly get an insight into the impact of ETW which we can use for further planning and advocacy purposes.

Access the survey here: https://redcap.link/Nov2021ETWsurvey

The deadline is 7 January 2022.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email the ETW secretariat at eurotest.rigshospitalet@regionh.dk

The new European Test Finder has been launched - make sure your testing site is included!

How do I include my testing site?

  1. Create a profile for the testing site on https://www.testfinder.info/register
  2. Fill out the form to provide information about your testing services.

For easy instructions on what to do, watch this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbFVs1Ddq8M

What is the European Test Finder?

The European Test Finder (ETF) is a free online tool enabling users to search for their nearest testing site for HIV, viral hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections in countries within the WHO European Region.

The previous ETF hosted by NAM Aidsmap has been discontinued, and all testing sites need to register on the new ETF website and submit information about their testing services.

For any questions, please send us an email: eurotestfinder.rigshospitalet@regionh.dk
