After School Ministry Celebrates Christmas
Central Elementary children in the FUMCD After School Program enjoyed pizza, grapes, and chocolate cup cakes for the last meeting before Christmas. Great fun was had as they made individual cinnamon swirl cakes to take home. All children received a beautiful hand knitted cap made by Alice Yoder.

  AMAZING - CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY!!
On Friday, December 17, Aldersgate was filled with the sounds of Christmas joy as 20 elementary children, 3 youth volunteers and two young adult helpers gathered for a Christmas party. The children played games such as, “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Snowball,” “Snowball Toss” and “Elf Says.” They also created Christmas ornaments to take home with them while talking about the birth of Jesus. The group even took time to make bags of candy for our Open Table guests.  Merry & Blessed Christmas!

WHAT AN AWESOME WEEK AT OPEN TABLE ~
Last Saturday Open Table was blessed
to serve 83 clients!

And, SO MANY blessings were shared: 3 bags of groceries for each family (one for Christmas meal, one for a New Year's day style meal and one with the usual extras); fresh ham (1-2 lbs for each), frozen premade King Ranch Casserole to toss in the oven, toilet tissue and paper towels, and Christmas candy!!
Then, the blessings of Open Table were explained to FMS kids using photos while Zooming.  In addition, we were able to share Thank You photos from Open Table Families to express appreciation to the FMS students for their canned good donations.

*Please note - Open Table will not be serving
on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
The Open Table grocery bags on Saturday,
December 18th contained extra items
for a hearty meal during Christmas and a
New Year's meal with ham,
black eye peas and sweet potatoes
.

Open Table needs all year.

Your generosity is a gift from God.
