When did you discover the joy of the Regency?

I first read Pride and Prejudice when I was thirteen years old and fell in love with Mr Darcy, and the Regency world of Jane Austen. I have been an ardent fan ever since. The photo is of me with my own Mr Darcy - my husband, Andrew.
 
What was it that attracted you to the Regency period?
