December 2021

Facebook FlickrYouTube Twitter Instagram

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners,

December has come too soon and for us started with the well-attended pre-IBC DRM virtual event, a good occasion to give updates on the major developments of 2021 and to look forward to the coming year. Among the news unveiled on December 1st was the introduction of the DRM FM trial in Copenhagen and the mediumwave test in Cyprus, as well as the announcement of the Skyworks new DRM chipset. This was included in the receiver updates, also very well received. The new DRM receiver leaflet to be found below captures the latest developments. The good automotive receiver figures recorded in India (over 4.5 Million) featured prominently during the event and are also the topic of an article published recently in Radio World.

Some of the main services and benefits of DRM were illustrated during the DRM pre-IBC event with excerpts from our corporate videos which you can access at: videos.drm.org. If you want to know where DRM is in the world, you will be pleased to access our latest update  also available on the drm.org website. A lot of the key DRM information can now be in your pocket or on one single sheet of paper. So please access pocket.drm.org and retrieve what interests you. This is our little end-of year gift to all of our exceptional members, supporters and friends who have helped us make 2021 such a full and good DRM year.

Whatever you are celebrating during this festive season, we hope you have a good time and stay safe – we are looking forward to working with you and for you in 2022!
