The Year in Books
2021 has been a lot. Despite so much uncertainty and fear and heartbreak and fatigue, it's also been a year of vital, extraordinary, enlightening, escapist, and noteworthy books. Part of how we reflect on each year in publishing here at Harvard Book Store is with our annual Holiday Hundred—featuring 100 titles across varied subjects and genres, with something for every kind of reader. A newer tradition here at the bookstore is our collection of year-end staff favorites. We have eclectic reading tastes, and you'll find books on this list that you won't see anywhere else.  Into the Video Archive
In November we hosted a virtual event with beloved baker and cookbook author Dorie Greenspan for her latest cookbook, Baking with Dorie: Sweet, Salty & Simple (signed copies are available on our shelves now!). She was joined in conversation by none other than James Beard Award–winning chef Joanne Chang, author of the Flour cookbooks and operator of nine Flour bakeries in Boston/Cambridge.
