Our rotating site will be open again this weekend at The Gate Youth Association in Independence: Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights, December 10-12. Please help us spread the word to those who may need a warm, dry, and safe place to sleep this weekend.

As always...
- Intake is 7-9 p.m. For the safety and courtesy of all guests, please check in during this time if possible. After hours or to arrange transportation, please call 503-949-4987.
- The warming center operates from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Transportation can be arranged within rural Polk County if needed. The Cherriots bus system is providing free rides to and from the Warming Centers when they are operating, Mondays-Saturdays.
- Families and pets welcome.
- Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will continue taking common precautions as well as extra cleaning to ensure the safety of our guests and volunteers.

Windermere Realty is again supporting the Polk County Warming Centers with their "Share the Warmth" Coat & Blanket Drive this Winter. Collection starts this Monday, Nov. 8th and will continue through Friday, Dec. 17th. Donations of new or gently used coats, blankets, and other winter items are welcome. We are excited to partner in providing warm Winter gear to neighbors in need right here in our community!
