Dear Agency Representatives,

With winter break quickly approaching, I'd like to share a few reminders and celebrations before we all unplug to enjoy a much needed holiday break. With so many challenges our candidates and coaches are facing this year, one beam of light is that 98.5% of candidates indicate being "Very well" or "Well matched" with their reflective coach. This is so important as the candidate and coach relationship truly is the heart of the candidate's induction experience. Thank you for creating the most meaningful candidate/coach matches!

We are looking forward to sharing induction program, fiscal, and credentialing updates with you at our January Agency Representative MeetingsThrough 2021-22, Agency Representative meetings will remain virtual. If you haven't already, please select one date and click the link to register.

Mid-Year Enrollment
Mid-year enrollment is December 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022.

The deadline for ECO placement approval for mid-year candidates is April 1, 2022.
Early Completion Option (ECO) Status Deadline
For traditional enrollment candidates, agencies should request ECO status prior to winter break. January 1st is the deadline. Enrollment status will not be changed after this date.

For mid-year enrollment candidates, agencies must request ECO status by April 1st. Enrollment status will not be changed after this date.

Executive Order candidates are not eligible for ECO placement if they have not passed TPA and/or RICA.

If candidates have passed these tests and submit their passing test results to our office by December 31, 2021, they can still be considered for ECO placement before our traditional ECO deadline date.

Visit our Credential Services webpage for further induction eligibility information.

Site Administrator Connections
Thank you for sharing site administrator contact information with us! We sent each site administrator a welcome email with a personalized list of their participating candidates. We received several appreciative responses. If you didn't have a chance to share your site administrator contact information, it's not too late! Find your agency's tab at the bottom of this sheet, enter your site administrator's contact information, and we will be glad to reach out to them. Thank you, again, for helping us strengthen our site administrator connections.
Optional Professional Development
CTI offers several FREE professional learning opportunities for our partners. Next up on our Wellness Wednesday series is More Good Days - Brain Based Practices for Trauma Responsive Schools on January 12th with Dr. Joelle Hood. Click here to reserve your spot!

Friendly reminder that candidates and coaches who attend together can count their attendance as their one hour weekly meeting.

Other professional learning sessions are available for registration on our professional development website
TPA and RICA Support
Upon enrollment, our Credential Services Team sent email notifications to all Executive Order and Variable Term Waiver candidates and their coaches to ensure awareness of any statutory requirements. In addition, a member of our CTI Team reached out to these candidates to conduct a needs assessment.

Thank you for continuing to remind candidates and coaches of CTI provided resources and on-going support as they integrate fulfilling these requirements into their focused cycles of inquiry.

Once these requirements have been met, please remind coaches and candidates to submit the candidate's TPA and/or RICA passing scores to ctisupport@rcoe.us to ensure our records reflect their completion.
