"I've been praying for you for so long!"

Dear friends and family,

I wish you could be there when these students have “light bulb” moments of understanding the gospel clearly for the first time. Luke is a freshmen who has gotten involved in Cru with a really fun (and loud!) group of men from the Western Heights Residence Halls. When he read through the “Knowing God Personally” booklet with Cru staff Anthony, Luke said that he finally understood what it means to begin a personal relationship with Christ. He prayed to receive forgiveness and make Christ the Lord of his life.

Luke shared the news with his sister, the only other believer in his family. She said “I’ve been praying for you for so long!” Next time their family was all together, Luke’s sister put him on the spot, saying, “Luke has something he’d like to share with us!” In front of his parents and siblings, Luke shared his story of coming to Christ!

Students are being introduced to Christ, built in their faith, and sent to share the message with others. We anticipate all that the Lord will do in 2022! We continue to trust Him for the resources to match that vision. Year-end giving is significant to our overall budget. It allows us to focus on blessing and serving students. This year, we are trusting the Lord for an additional $7,500 in year-end gifts.
