Hi <<First Name>>,

Thank you for your continued support of the B.C.Immunization plan. By now, you may have already heard that pediatric vaccines are available to kids aged 5 to 11 in our region and continue to offer immunizations to everyone as they are eligible

As per previous phases, clinic locations and special community clinics are posted at https://www.fraserhealth.ca/vax and correspond with booking options on the provincial Get Vaccinated system. Clinics include an age designation (all ages, 12 years of age and older, family clinic) to ensure pediatric vaccines are available when booking. Appointments are required for these clinics; we ask everyone to register on the provincial system and to wait for their invitation to book.

We appreciate your continued assistance to help spread the word on vaccine eligibility. Please see some new resources that are now available should they be of interest. We will continue to share additional resources as they are available.
Financial assistance expanded for people affected by flooding

We’ve expanded the eligibility for the Disaster Financial Assistance for people affected by flooding and landslides from Nov. 14 to Dec. 2, 2021. The program is available to homeowners, tenants, farmers, small business owners, and charitable organizations

If members have questions they are welcome to contact the Disaster Financial Assistance hotline in the release below or contact Andrew Douglas in PSSG.

Accessibility grants awarded to promote inclusion

Everyone deserves to be able to fully participate in their community but for too long people with disabilities have faced barriers to engagement. We’re happy to announce that 15 community-based projects have received over $450,000 in grants to help increase accessibility and community inclusion for British Columbians with disabilities.

We’re committed to building more accessible and inclusive communities and empowering people with disabilities to have a direct role in identifying the barriers that prevent them from participating fully in their communities.
Economy expected to show continued strength, flood recovery poses challenges

B.C.’s economic growth is expected to outpace Canada’s in 2021 and 2022.

“There are more challenges ahead, but forecasts signal the work we have done so far has put us on the right track and provided us with a solid foundation to continue responding to the pandemic and recent flooding and support a strong recovery for British Columbians,” said Selina Robinson, Minister of Finance.
