COVID UPDATE
December 2021

From the Vicar

Dear friends,

I hope this email finds you well in these anxious times.

I am writing to update you on our arrangements  for creating as safe an environment as possible in the wake of the latest government updates on COVID regulations.

If you are planning to attend a service at St Paul's during the coming weeks, I encourage you to do four simple things to help create a safe environment for us all:
  • Wear a face covering, unless you are  exempt from having to do so by law. The rules allow for coverings to be removed for the singing of hymns, and at drinks after Mass.
  • Apply hand sanitizer when you enter the building.
  • Be mindful of others and their personal space when moving around the building.
  • Given the likely increased transmissibility of the Omicron variant, we encourage you to take a lateral flow test before coming to church, although there is no requirement to do so.
All our regular services continue to be live-streamed for the benefit of those of us who are self-isolating or anxious about attending church in-person.

Christmas will be a different and, for many of us, difficult time this year, but we hope to see you at a service or online, and we will be available to you throughout the season if you need support - call us on 020 7201 9999, or drop us an email at pastoral@spkb.org.

At time of writing we fully intend to hold our Parish Carol Service on Tuesday, 21st December at 7pm, and hope to see you there.

This comes with the assurance of my prayers,

Alan
