Compliance and Enforcement Report

We have published our annual Compliance and Enforcement Report – a document featuring the findings of our extensive casework against licence holders and detailing where the industry needs to raise standards.

This report covers the financial year 2020 – 2021, a period during which our casework led to the suspension of five operator licences and the revocation of licences for one operator and nine personal management licence holders.

Regulatory action against Greentube Alderney Limited

An online gambling business must pay £685,000 after an investigation revealed social responsibility and money laundering failures.

Greentube Alderney – which operates admiralcasino.co.uk and bellfruitcasino.com – will also undergo extensive independent auditing for the failures which occurred between December 2019 and November 2020.

HM Treasury’s Annual Supervision Report (2019 to 2020)

HM Treasury has published its annual Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Supervision Report (2019 to 2020).

Gambling businesses are reminded to refer to this report as a guide in helping them to comply with their anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing duties.

Report on age-restricted ads on children’s websites and YouTube channels

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has published a summary of its quarterly online monitoring sweeps to identify and tackle age-restricted ads appearing in children’s media.
