Moths are diverse, ecologically important - and often stunningly beautiful! Martha's Vineyard is home to thousands of moth species, including many rarities. And best of all, even beginning observers can successfully observe moths and contribute to moth science and conservation.

BiodiversityWorks and the Martha's Vineyard Atlas of Life are pleased to offer a webinar introducing the Island's moth fauna on Tuesday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. Presented by noted naturalist Dave Small, the webinar will introduce moth diversity and ecology, highlight the importance of the Vineyard for moth conservation, and present the basics of how to begin studying and appreciating these fascinating insect.
