The GTP are working very closely with VisitGuernsey on behalf of their members in a number of areas, one of which is the cruise liners. We understand from our latest survey that this is the most important issue facing the majority of our membership. Through direct representation to Visit Guernsey we have been given the opportunity to become more involved and assist with some of the marketing and data work and inform on the on Island experience for Cruise passengers. We are looking for feedback on any updates (particularly since 2020) which can include but not limited to:-
New Tours
New Attractions
Updates to attractions (showing investment in the sector)
Guides with additional language capability
Sustainability - any changes you have made to previous offerings that are focusing on this important area
Inclusion - any changes you have made to previous offering that are now available to a wider audience
We wish to show that Guernsey is increasing the number and diversity of activities available to the cruise liners, and that even if their guests have been to the Bailiwick previously, there are always new things for them to see and do.
Please could you email secretary@tourism.gg - marked "for the attention of Amanda Johns" - with any information which you wish to share, she will collate this on behalf of the GTP so we can update Visit Guernsey and ultimately the Cruise Market where appropriate.
