COVID-19 vaccination in children
On December 5 2021, Comirnaty (Pfizer) was granted provisional registration for use in children aged 5-11 years. In this age group, a 2 dose course of 10 micrograms (compared with 30 micrograms administered to those ≥ 12 years) is recommended to be administered 8 weeks apart. (TGA media release)
