Join the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute, the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and the Wistar Institute as NIH experts walk through the path of a typical NIH R01 research grant from submission to summary statement to notice of award. Attendees will come away with insights into what happens at each step of the post-submission process, a better understanding of what goes into a summary statement, and what to expect with your notice of award.

2022 National Postdoc Association Annual Conference


The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) has opened registration for their 20th NPA Annual Conference. After a 3-year hiatus due to COVID, the NPA will be hosting the upcoming conference in person in the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, IL on April 1-2. Register by Friday, January 7 to take advantage of the early bird rates! The NPA will also be offering a virtual conference April 28-29 for those who are unable to travel.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: A Symposium for Neurodegeneration Across All Ages


This free symposium, sponsored by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, brings together trainees in the field of neurological disorders at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia community. It is an excellent opportunity for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows to showcase their work, explore career development opportunities, and network.
