By now, your annual spending policy letter should have landed in your mailbox. Spending policy letters are the Foundation’s way of communicating to organizations and donors about the amount available for distribution from funds. This year’s spending policy letters shared an important update to the way The Community Foundation transfers spending policy allocations to funds. Instead of applying the amount to the fund quarterly throughout the year, the whole amount will be applied during the first quarter of the year. That means that we will no longer do quarterly, automatic distributions. Instead, we will do one annual distribution in March or September.
If you typically received automatic distributions, either quarterly or annually, then you must select a new distribution time that works best for your organization by completing the short form on our website. Click the button below to select your distribution time by January 31, 2022.
